Find something worth watching.

1. Choose a title

The home shelves offer starting points such as newly added and highly rated movies. “Just Added” describes when a title entered the catalogue; it does not mean the film was released this week. Use Movies to filter by genre or minimum rating, or sort by year when you have a particular kind of film in mind.

Open a title to read its synopsis, compare the running time with the time you have, and watch a trailer when one is available. Ratings come from catalogue providers and are one signal, rather than Yify’s own review or a guarantee that you will enjoy a film. A trailer is a preview; playing it does not start the full movie.

Save a promising title instead of deciding immediately. You can return to it in your watchlist, while Preferences → Account → History helps you find titles you opened earlier.

2. Set your viewing country

Streaming catalogues differ by country. Choose the country beside Where to watch, or use Preferences → Account → My streaming services. Select the country where you intend to watch, then choose the services you use there. A service or title offered in one country may be absent in another.

You can select a country manually without giving location permission. Use current location is an optional shortcut to detect your country once. Changing the country changes the availability lookup; it does not change a streaming account’s billing country or bypass a provider’s regional restrictions.

Your selected services are preferences, not connected accounts. Yify does not ask for your streaming passwords, verify your subscription tier, or sign in to those services for you.

3. Understand the viewing options

A provider can offer a title in several ways. Check the offer type before following the link:

• Subscription: listed as part of a provider’s subscription offering. Confirm that your own plan includes it.
• Free or with ads: listed without a rental or purchase charge, potentially with advertising or an account requirement.
• Rent: a separate payment for temporary access, even if you already subscribe to that provider.
• Buy: a separate purchase under the provider’s terms.

Viewing links open TMDB’s regional watch page, where you can follow the provider’s offer. You finish signing in, checking the price and starting playback on the provider’s own service. Yify’s supporter subscription removes ads placed by Yify; it does not include subscriptions, rentals or purchases from streaming providers.

4. Turn a shortlist into a decision

In Watchlist, choose your services and select Check availability. For a longer list, use Check next to look up the remaining batch. The checked-title count tells you how much of your list has been looked up.

On my services matches checked subscription, free and ad-supported offers against your saved service choices. It excludes rent and buy offers. Select the exact service or channel you use: a provider’s standalone subscription and its add-on channel can be separate entries.

Unchecked titles can be hidden by that filter, so an empty filtered list does not necessarily mean none of your saved films is available. Finish checking the remaining titles or turn the filter off to see the whole list.

For example, if you have ten saved films and only four have been checked, the filter can only match those four. Checking the other six gives you a more complete shortlist. After watching something, mark it watched or organize it into a collection to keep your next choices easy to find.

5. When a title or service is missing

• No viewing options listed: no regional offers were found, or Yify could not match the title to the availability source. Check the provider directly; this is not proof that the title is unavailable everywhere.
• Viewing options couldn’t be loaded: the lookup failed. Use Try again after checking your connection.
• Country not covered: the availability source does not currently cover that country. You can still browse titles and keep a watchlist.
• A saved title cannot be checked: a matching identifier may be missing. This differs from a successful search that finds no offers.

Availability can change after an offer is listed. Confirm the exact title, region, subscription tier and price on the provider’s site before paying. Yify cannot unlock a provider’s catalogue or promise that every platform, edition or country is covered.

Yify is built by Kunal Das and published by Kudos Labs. Its added tools include personal watchlists, viewing history, service preferences and regional availability filtering. Movie descriptions, artwork, ratings and trailers come from external catalogue and media providers; they are not original Yify film reviews.

Streaming availability is supplied by JustWatch through TMDB. Yify is not affiliated with the streaming services it lists. The source code is public.
