Delete your account

You can delete your Yify account and its synchronized data at any time. Account deletion is permanent.

In the app or on the website

1. Open Yify and go to Preferences.
2. Under Account, choose Delete account.
3. Read the confirmation and confirm deletion.

You must be signed in to see this option. Sign in with the same Google account you used for Yify. You may be asked to sign in again to verify the request.

If you cannot access Yify

Email kunal26das@gmail.com from the Google account you used to sign in and request deletion of your Yify account. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting anything. Account-deletion requests are actioned within 30 days.

What account deletion removes

When deletion completes successfully, Yify removes:

• Your Firebase sign-in account record, including your account ID, name, email address and profile image information.
• Your synchronized watchlist and the records of removed titles.
• Your synchronized viewing history and the records of removed history entries.
• Your synchronized settings, including theme, browsing, playback and notification preferences.

What needs separate action

Subscriptions and purchase records

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription or refund a purchase. Use Manage subscription in Yify, your Google Play subscriptions page, or the billing portal or receipt for the provider where you paid. If another store supplied your purchase, manage it through that store.

Billing providers may retain transaction records for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, refunds and other legal obligations. Contact us about additional requests involving information held by RevenueCat or another provider.

Information saved only on your device

Local watchlists, viewing history, recent searches and preferences can remain after account deletion. Clear them using Yify's Preferences or your device's app-storage or browser site-data controls. Clearing local data by itself does not delete a cloud account.

Analytics, diagnostics and support records

Account deletion does not automatically erase all information held by analytics, advertising, diagnostics or support providers. These records can contain installation or session identifiers, activity and technical details; they are not guaranteed to be anonymous. Their retention depends on the purpose, provider configuration and applicable requirements. Email us if you want to request deletion of additional personal information.
